What time do the parades start?

The Junior Floats parade on Thursday May 7th begins at 10am. The Grand Floats parade on Friday May 8th begins at 10am.  

Where do I park when visiting Main Street? 

The City of Humboldt offers several public parking lots right off of main street. 12th Ave directly behind the Mayor’s Office, as well as the corner of Burrow Street and 14th Ave. Main Street closes promptly at 9am on parade days, parking is available on the filtering streets that lead to Main Street and visitors are encouraged to get to town early.  

Where should I sit for the parades?

Seating is available all along the parade route, from 22nd and Main all the way to 12th Ave.  Find a group of friends and add your chair!

How can i be involved?

The West Tennessee Strawberry Festival has more than 20 events that require LOTS of volunteers to help make happen! Send us an email or click the "contact us" button below if you would like to get plugged into one of our committees! 

Tell me about the food vendors

Our food vendors/trucks will begin to arrive on Saturday before the Festival begins. Most are in place by Monday evening, but we do have a few who are parade days (Thursday/Friday) only.

They set their own schedules, but most are open for lunch at 11AM. They sometimes take a break after the lunch rush and open back up around 5PM to stay open for dinner.

Most are open all day long Thursday-Saturday.

my entry isn't listed on the parade lineup

We receive dozens of parade entries the last week before the Festival begins. We put out a preliminary lineup one week before final registration deadline that includes all of the entries we've received through that prior weekend. A final list will not be posted until one week later - the Tuesday after final registration deadline. If you do not see your entry at that time, please call the Chamber office to inquire.
